Spheroid spatial sequencing with DNA barcode networks and droplet fluidics

This collaboration aims to establish a new sequencing-based 3d imaging platform by integrating droplet microgel encapsulation with dna barcode network reconstruction. we focus on organoids and spheroids as model systems, using molecular sequencing rather than optics to map biomolecules in space. the project combines microfluidic expertise at kyoto university with molecular programming and graph-based spatial inference approaches developed at kth, enabling high-throughput, automated analysis of tissue microenvironments at single-cell resolution.
