Various gene-manipulated mice are housed in our Laboratory under strict regulation of animal experimental committee and institutional guidelines for animal welfare. Moreover, we have been considered for long time: how to make gene-manipulated mice more rapidly and conveniently. Recently, genome engineering methods have been established using CRISPR-Cas9 system. We have searched for many methods and finally developed our own protocol making such mice more easily and reproducibly.
