Abstract
Research findings from a collaborative team including Associate Professor Yukihiko Sugita (also affiliated with the Graduate School of Biostudies), Doctoral Student Shinya H. Goto (Graduate School of Biostudies), Doctoral Student Takuro Fujiwara (Graduate School of Medicine), Professor Keizo Tomonaga (also affiliated with the Graduate School of Medicine), and Professor Takeshi Noda (also affiliated with the Graduate School of Biostudies), together with Lecturer Yuya Hirai (School of Dentistry, Osaka Dental University) and Professor Masayuki Horie (Graduate School of Veterinary Science, Osaka Metropolitan University; also affiliated with the Osaka International Research Center for Infectious Diseases), were published in Science Advances.
