Exploring the overlap region of fertilization and immune systems using gene-manipulated mice
We investigate on 1) the molecular mechanism of fertilization, 2) the regulation and function of inflammatory T helper cells, and 3) the cross-talk mechanisms between reproduction and immune systems. Since these bio-processes are highly complicated in our body system and therefore not fully understood yet, we are now searching for novel key molecules which fill a gap in our understanding of the biomedical system by biochemical, molecular biological and immunological approaches and clarifying these functions in vivo by using gene knock out or gene editing technologies on the laboratory mouse.
